The Ashby Memory Method (AMM) is a brain fitness program of week-by-week exercises, specifically designed to improve cognition and brain functioning using materials based on the participant’s interests so the sessions are relevant and enjoyable. AMM certified facilitators are trained on the progression of memory loss and how to maximize the results of the program.The AMM program integrates the participant’s interests so the sessions are relevant and enjoyable. Studies have shown that AMM sessions improve memory performance over the short term and maintain that performance over an extended period of time.
The process includes:
- A series of workbooks that are scientifically designed to improve memory.
- Twice a week for an hour a certified facilitator sits down one-on-one with a participant.
- Not a medication. No adverse side effects.
- Not on a computer so there is no software to learn.
- The program continues until the participant chooses to stop.
